Mission Statement:

Community Dialogue NYC is dedicated to addressing pressing issues such as gun violence, mental health, and homelessness in our community through a Street Quietude Mental Health Homelessness Approach. We believe in promoting a communal reconciliation and healing approach and aim to equip our youth leader advocates with the tools to respond to families and communities impacted by these issues. Through our non-medical services, we provide wraparound services for our community members who are at risk, including victims or persons with mental illness, monitoring clients who are on medications, and homelessness.

Goal:

Our goal is to create a safer and healthier community by empowering at-risk youth to reach their full potential. We strive to provide them with life-changing growth opportunities and tangible skills to deter crime and promote positive change in their communities. We aim to establish a community kitchen space, Diálogo Communidad Cocina (DiaCo), which will offer hot meals to our community and provide opportunities for youth programs, including paid internship opportunities in culinary arts and hospitality. Through street-level engagement, local precinct relationships, and victim support services, we aim to provide wraparound services for our community members who are at risk, including victims or persons with mental illness, monitoring clients who are on medications, and homelessness. Our ultimate goal is to promote communal reconciliation and healing and create a safe and healthy community for all.
